GoDaddy Host Server Not Relaying Emails

You move your hosting to a new host server and then you realize the forms are not sending emails to users.

Here is how to fix it.

1. Log into your GoDaddy account, and go to CPanel.

2. Scroll down to the “Email” section.

3. Choose “Email Routing” or “Configuring Email Routing”…which ever is listed.

4. From the list of Domains choose which one is your root domain. Then choose the option “Remote Mail Exchanger”

5. If there are more than one domain in the list, do this process with all domains listed.

NOTE: GoDaddy by default sets the Domains to “Local Mail Server” and we’re not sure why they do that except maybe because they want users to only purchase their email services. But putting this on Remote Mail Exchanger is used only if you are not using Godaddy’s mail services. For example if you use Google Workspace to process your mail.

Save your settings and try your forms again.
