Right click on Command Prompt and click\u00a0<strong>Run as Administrator<\/strong>.<br \/>\nAlternatively, you can also open the Command Prompt by pressing\u00a0<strong>Windows+R<\/strong>\u00a0&gt; Type CMD &gt; Press Enter.<\/li>\n<li>Once the Command Prompt window appears, type\u00a0<strong>diskpart<\/strong>\u00a0and hit\u00a0<strong>enter<\/strong>. Wait until the diskpart\u00a0utility starts running.<\/li>\n<li>In the new diskpart window, type\u00a0<strong>list disk<\/strong>\u00a0and hit enter. Clean command will format your bootable drive. You will get a message like \u2018<strong>Diskpart succeeded in cleaning the disk\u2019<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Type\u00a0<strong>create partition primary<\/strong>\u00a0and hit\u00a0<strong>Enter<\/strong>. You will get a message like\u00a0<strong>Diskpart succeeded in creating the specified partition.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Type\u00a0<strong>select partition 1<\/strong>\u00a0and hit\u00a0<strong>Enter<\/strong>. It will choose partition 1 for setting up it as an active partition.<\/li>\n<li>Next, type\u00a0<strong>active<\/strong>\u00a0and hit\u00a0<strong>Enter<\/strong>. It will activate the current partition.<\/li>\n<li>Now, type\u00a0<strong>format fs=ntfs quick<\/strong>\u00a0and hit\u00a0<strong>Enter<\/strong>.
